JOINING
What are the basic requirements to join Connecticut Widows Sons?
We’re a Christian motorcycle association for men. In general, you should be a rider in good standing, support our mission, and be willing to participate in chapter life (rides, meetings, and service). If you have questions about eligibility or your background, reach out—our officers will walk you through what’s required and what the next step looks like.

PROCESS
How does the prospect process work, and how long does it take?
Start by contacting us through this page. We’ll set up a conversation and invite you to meet members at an event or gathering. If it’s a good fit, you’ll enter a prospect period focused on getting to know the chapter and showing consistent involvement. Timelines vary by the individual and the chapter calendar, but we’ll give you clear expectations up front.

MEETUPS
Can I attend a ride or event before I apply for membership?
Yes. Visiting is one of the best ways to see who we are and how we operate. Use the contact form to introduce yourself, your location, and what you ride, and we’ll let you know what’s coming up and what’s appropriate for guests. If you’re new to group rides, we’ll also share basic ride etiquette and safety expectations.

PATCHES
Do I need specific colors, patches, or a certain bike to join?
You don’t need a particular brand of motorcycle. Patches and chapter identifiers are earned and handled through the membership process—please don’t purchase or wear Widows Sons items as “colors” before you’ve been approved. If you have gear questions, ask; we’ll point you in the right direction and keep it respectful.
№ 05
FAITH
Is Connecticut Widows Sons connected to a church or a ministry?
We’re a Christian association and our faith shapes our conduct, brotherhood, and service, but you don’t have to have everything “figured out” to start the conversation. If you’re curious about how faith is lived out in chapter life, ask—we’re glad to explain our values, what meetings look like, and how we serve the community together.

CONTACT
When will someone respond to my message, and what should I include?
We do our best to reply as quickly as possible. To help us respond efficiently, include your name, town, the type of bike you ride, riding experience, and what you’re looking for (joining, event info, or general questions). If you’d prefer a phone call, add the best number and times to reach you, and we’ll follow up.
